What is Glyco-Lactic Acid?

This peel is a combination of 30% Glycolic Acid and 30% Lactic Acid. The 30/30 Glyco-Lactic Peel is the perfect solution to reap the dual benefits of the top 2 alpha-hydroxy acids. This peel effectively addresses bothersome skin conditions such as: discoloration, minor acne, blotchy skin, aging skin, rough skin texture and so much more. The best part is that it is mild enough to be used by beginners and can be applied multiple times per month. There is little or no burning sensation and no recovery time.

Lactic Acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that is derived from fermented milk. It is a gentle AHA that lightens, moisturizes and softens the skin. Glycolic Acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) developed from sugar cane. It is the most popular AHA because it treats numerous skin conditions and has the best penetration ability.

Benefits of 30/30 Glyco-Lactic Acid Chemical Peel

Hydrates & Moisturizes to Produce Soft, Smooth skin

Lactic acid stimulates the epidermal and dermal layers of the skin to increase hydration levels. It has a unique mechanism of pulling moisture to the skin. This ensures that rough, dry skin becomes hydrated and refined.

   Gently Exfoliates....No Burning…No Downtime

This 30/30 Glyco-Lactic Acid peel is perfect for beginners or for those who need the benefits of a chemical peel but don’t want to go through the visible peeling and downtimes. The Glycolic Acid works to provide superior exfoliation but you won’t feel the burning sensation that is common with the stronger peels. Your skin will still show a marked improvement in tone, texture and if you suffer from acne you will notice that breakouts are less frequent. It is also gentle enough to be used several times per month.

Brightens Skin Tone, Fades Discoloration, Restores Sun Damaged Skin

Numerous studies have proven that Lactic Acid and Glycolic Acid have the ability to brighten the overall complexion. They improve the appearance of skin discoloration by dispersing melanin granules more evenly in epidermis. The whitening properties of this peel are further enhanced with the addition of skin lightening ingredients: Kojic Acid, Bearberry, Mulberry and Licorice. They work simultaneously to fade dark spots and correct hyperpigmentation. If years of sun damage has left your skin looking dark and tired, this peel will restore yours skin’s youthful glow. The 30/30 Glyco-Lactic peel is not going to make your skin several shades lighter but it promotes clarity to reveal a brighter, even-toned complexion.

Unclogs Pores to Remove Oil, Toxins & Acne Causing Bacteria

Glycolic and Lactic acid have the ability to go beyond the surface of the skin to eliminate germs, toxins and dead cells from the skin’s surface. This peel helps to fight acne as it penetrates the skin’s epidermis to remove the debris from sebum filled follicles, unclog pores and eliminate blackheads.

Stimulates Collagen & Elastin to Fight Wrinkles

Glycolic and Lactic Acid will help to increase skin cell turnover on the surface of the skin as they stimulate new collagen and elastin. This improves the appearance of shallow wrinkles and forays the signs of aging as it allows the skin to become thicker, tighter and more firm.

Lactic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Deionized Water, Kojic Acid, Arctostaphylos Uva Ursi (Bearberry) Extract, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Morus Alba (White Mulberry) Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract

How Do I Apply a Chemical Peel?

This is the most common question that we get from those new to chemical peels. Chemical peels can be easily applied at home if you follow the directions carefully. The peel comes with a detailed instruction sheet that’s easy to follow. Basically, a chemical peel application involves:

  1. Cleansing the skin
  2. Applying the peel
  3. Let the peel remain on the skin for the recommended time
  4. Rinse with cold water
  5. Wear moisturizer and sunscreen for a few days after the peel

At-Home chemical peels are great but they are not for everyone. Before purchasing this product please be sure to carefully read all the warnings and precautions.

Do NOT Use this Peel if:

  1. You have sensitive skin or do not know how to apply At-Home Chemical Peels.
  2. You are not willing to read the instructions and fully understand the risks and restrictions associated with the healing process
  3. You have used hair removal products, waxes, scrubs, Retin A, tretinoin products, or other exfoliating agents on the intended treatment area 48 hours prior to the peel
  4. You have sunburn, skin allergies, skin grafts, recent surgery, open wounds, lesions, inflamed skin or very sensitive skin
  5. You are pregnant or nursing
  6. You currently take Accutane (isotretinoin) or have within the past 6 months
  7. You have an STD such as Herpes, HIV, AIDS or similar condition
  8. You are on immune suppressant drugs
  9. Undergoing chemotherapy or radiation
  10. You are prone to keloid scars
  11. If you are susceptible to cold sores, chemical peels may increase the chance of an outbreak. Taking antiviral medicine prior to the peel may decrease the risk of an outbreak
  12. You have unrealistic expectations. Multiple applications may be required to achieve optimum results
